The Baileys | Demopolis Alabama Wedding

I don’t know about you but I am a BIG FAN of reminiscing over photos from my very own Alabama wedding day. Today, Anna Ruth & Adam celebrate their FIRST anniversary as husband & wife!!!

On a spring day in late April, surrounded by their dearest families & friends they exchanged vows in Anna’s home church. Vows that meant they would weather all of life’s highs & lows together. I know they have lived this out in just the last 365 days.

I remember the buttons on her dress, the look on her brother’s face when he saw her for the first time (I cried), the laughter her girls so graciously gave me when I asked them to lean in a little bit closer, Adam’s hand that ever so softly lead her around throughout the day, the moment the church doors opened & my childhood best friend walked down the aisle, the smiles of Adam’s grandfather who couldn’t help but be proud to be a part of the day & the dance party that took place later that night.

Looking back through these portraits have brought my heart much joy today & I know they will do the same for you. Happy Anniversary to two of the kindest souls that I am honored to call my friends.

The Huggins | Fairhope Alabama Wedding

Oh where do I even begin?! Tori and Trey’s wedding day was such a delight to be a part of. First of all, it brought me back to the Gulf Coast which I holds a special place in my heart AND I got to catch up with so many of my friends, too!

Tori is one of the most laid back brides that I have been blessed by lately and I am oh so thankful. She understand how crazy my life had been since getting married myself and moving and extended me grace after late night emails. So when I walked into her hotel room on the morning of her wedding day, I was greeted with excitement from her and her squad.

One of my favorite moments from their day took place during their ceremony when they chose to wash each other’s feet just as Jesus did with the disciples. What a humbling way to start off your marriage - a promise to love, serve & submit to one another. And of course my second favorite part of the day was their time spent along the Eastern Shore after their ceremony for some ‘Just Married’ portraits! *Keep scrolling to see what I am talking about.

Tori and Trey, what an honor is was to be a part of your day one. Thank you for sharing in this season with me and my prayer is that these photographs captured on your wedding day will be treasured for generations to come.

Oh sweet momma! I love these moments shared between the bride and her mom especially when I personally know the two.

The Eves | 12.16.17

"Today I am marrying my best friend!" Those were the words written in the love letters exchanged between Mary & Adrian on their December wedding day. "I don't know how you do it, but it's amazing how much your smile alone can transform a person...and I promise to work as hard as I can to keep the smile upon your face."

Wondering the halls of McGill-Toolen High School one afternoon, Mary overheard someone playing the piano & stepped inside the auditorium to find this handsome young fellow playing. Their love of music drew them together & has continued to grow.

Surrounded by family & friends, these two vowed to never stop fighting for one another & to continuously put each other before themselves. "I'm so excited to start this new chapter in our amazing story - so far I have loved every second of this fairy tale."
